Meet Shannon

3X Ironman World Championship Triathlete | Lifetime Fitness Coach | Mindset Mastery Trainer

As a 50 years alive woman, I have experienced & witnessed the transformative mind-body-spirit effects of creating a strong body.  

​

In my 20’s, exercise was mostly about trying to look good / lose weight - always worried about the perception of others.

​

In my 30’s, exercise was about proving I could do hard things - 17 Ironman triathlons and 40 marathons by age 40.  I learned the power of believing in my own power.  That if I just kept pushing, I could do anything.
 
In my 40’s, exercise almost killed me.   I broke my neck near the end of a 5 hour bike training session. After 2 ambulance trips and a helicopter ride, I was in neck brace for 8 weeks. It forced me to take a real hard look at my life.  I realized life is short - we have to make it amazing.  Ultimately, it gave me the courage to leave a toxic marriage and learn that my self-worth shouldn't be based on others opinions.

Now, as I kick off the 50’s decade, exercise is my self-care practice.  It incorporates all of the learning lessons from my past and melds them into the woman & coach I am today - a motivational mentor, fitness guru, confidence crusader and sisterhood creator.

 

Exercise not only extends your life, it improves the quality of your life.
